As a food writer for The Pitch, I am constantly on the lookout for new and exciting experiences to share with my fellow Kansas City food and drink enthusiasts. Recently, I found myself at HTeaO in Raymore, Missouri, a gem for tea lovers seeking a refreshing twist on their favorite beverage.
My adventure led me to order a huge unsweet wild raspberry tea ($3.99).
HTeaO is a haven for tea aficionados, offering a vast selection of premium teas brewed to perfection. When I arrived, I was greeted by a bright, welcoming atmosphere and the enticing aroma of freshly brewed tea. The sleek, modern setup of the store, complete with rows of colorful tea dispensers, made choosing just one flavor a fun challenge.
After sampling all of the unsweetened flavors, I opted for a large unsweet wild raspberry tea, no ice. I went with an unsweet tea because I prefer agave over sugar, which I carry in my purse next to my hot sauce.
The tea was delicious. It had a vibrant raspberry flavor that was both tangy and subtly sweet, despite its unsweetened nature. Each sip was refreshing, with the natural berry notes shining through beautifully. It was the perfect balance of fruity goodness and classic tea essence.
I’m also a huge fan of the self-serve setup at HTeaO which allows you to customize your drink with a variety of ice options and fruit infusions, making it easy to tailor your tea to your liking.
For this visit, I kept it simple, letting the pure wild raspberry flavor take center stage, but the option to experiment with different combinations adds an exciting element to any visit.
In addition to the exceptional tea, the staff at HTeaO deserves a mention for their friendly and knowledgeable service. They were more than happy to guide me through the flavor options and offer recommendations based on my preferences, making my experience even more enjoyable.
HTeaO in Raymore is not just a place to grab a drink; it’s a destination for tea lovers looking to explore a world of flavors.
HTeaO is located at 705 W Foxwood Dr., Raymore, MO 64083.
